Man, oh man.... I'm a kid in a candy store.  Had an early visit from Santa and am now the proud owner of TransAmerica, Ticket to Ride Europe and Galaxy Truckers!   The older kid and I did TA and GT, and we were happy about TA but ecstatic about GT!  A nice assortment of games.  Rumor has it that Chicago Express is in the mail and if that's the case, it has been a truly great end to a truly crappy year.

Bindle Rails appears to be evening out a little bit.  I'm anxious to see how it gets reviewed.  I didn't realize by comparing it to other games I was drawing from in terms of inspiration that I would indirectly be somewhat selling the game to those lofty goals.  I think it's holding up though in some capacity to those initial directions.  We'll see in time.

Other ideas for other games are coming and I will probably start working in earnest on those in the coming weeks.  I think Bindle Rails will probably have a few expansion cards and a few more goal cards featuring new mechanics into the mix as well... but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Beyond that, waiting for more doctor appointments in January to get fixed up and hopefully not need transfusions and such any more.  Hopefully 2009 will be better, although there is a lot of uncertainty with a lot of things right now.
