I finally a chance to get and play some games on the East Side of Cleveland. I ran into Mike again ("Nice beard! Haven't seen you for a while. Were you in jail?") and I got to play with some players I hadn't seen before. While I was waiting to get hooked into some games that involved more players, I was able to play Campaign Manager 2008 which was a great little game. I lost horribly as Obama as I couldn't coordinate my cards to take any big states. I met Grant who came up from Cuyahoga Falls to play. After a quick break, he, Mike and I along with Forest played Chicago Express. We then played The Speicherstadt and finished up with Innovation. I liked The Speicherstadt more than I thought I would at first glance. Innovation was extremely chaotic and while it had interesting mechanics, it seemed a little too chaotic for my taste. More plays later as time allows.
